African American New Character Designs

I got commissioned again for E-book covers for a client who loves my character style. I designed 2 African American girls in their 30’s one is dreaming of winning a lottery and other one is pretty jealous about this. Both characters are glammed up and designed with an attitude.

Well. Some crazy creative digitizer gals proved me wrong that my designs can be quite good for creating applique and embroidery designs. I was not planning on advertising to Digitizers community when I started this line but after seeing first result. Im like ” WHY NOT!”

Winter is here to stay! Luckily I live in a beautiful calm climate in British Columbia, Canada. Believe it or not, it does not even snow here. If it does, it is for 1 day or maybe 2. I was pretty inspired to create a snow, outdoor ice skating clipart set for boys and girls. I did a fair skin version couple weeks ago and got requests for an African American, Dark Skin version.

It is hard not to design spring related graphics lately. All cherry blossoms are out and air is fresh here at Victoria, Bc. I was getting a lot of requests on designing my floral designs. I had a break on those as I sold quiet alot of florals and complimenting accents for around 5,6 years. This year watercolor is very trendy so I just wanted to give you a little taste of my old style florals with watercolor texture :)
